PFOA is pleased to announce the addition of Wesley Behar to our staff. Based in the Los Angeles area, Wesley will be representing our sales force on the West Coast, visiting PFOA members and prospective members.
Wesley has extensive experience in the wholesale drug industry. He spent 7 years with AmerisourceBergen with his last position being Sales Executive. Wesley’s sales territory included more than 150 locations and he helped to grow and expand them. For the last 4 years he has served on AmerisourceBergen’s Political Action Committee (PAC) and has helped to lobby on behalf of independent pharmacies and their interests.

The PFOA Board of Directors recently met via webcast and phone conference. PFOA staff also attended the first part of the meeting. We welcomed Wesley Drake III in his position of National Director of Sales to the Association.

PFOA is pleased to announce the addition of Wesley Drake III to our staff. He will hold the position of National Director of Sales. Wesley is from Lakeland, FL and currently lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife Jennifer and three boys.
Wesley comes to PFOA from American Associated Pharmacies (AAP) with 16 years of pharmaceutical wholesale and distribution market experience. During his time with AAP as a Territory Manager, he was very successful in growing business in the Carolinas, West Virginia, and Virginia. He is well versed in the generic market and very knowledgeable of Pharmacy Services Administrative Organizations (PSAO) .
According to information received on 5/23/17 from Mel Brodsky, PUNCH LLC has reached the arbitration phase for 475 stores in its suit filed against Optum Rx. When the American Arbitration Association assigns an arbitrator (30-60 days) PUNCH will no longer be able to accept new members in the lawsuit. The PDS annual meeting in Orlando was held at the end of February and attended by PFOA staffers David Mayper, Nancy Tataronis, Karen Godbold and Wes Drake . We met with existing vendors and gathered relevant material to help our membership. Time was spent networking with business partners and attending members. We hosted a successful dinner for our members, their families and staff sponsored by our business partner, Anda. We appreciate their continued support.
