Present your value proposition in a pharma job. A pharmaceutical sales resume should provide a narrative statement of the main reasons why you should be called for an interview. Education: List your highest degree first.

Skills: Use action verbs and keywords pertinent to your job profile to describe your skillset and achievements. For example, you can show your technical as well as sales skills in your resume as follows.
Technical Skills : Good grasp of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, systems processes, and cost issues concerning practitioners.
Sales : Built annual sales from start-up to $500,000. Identified niche market that delivered above-average returns, in many cases adding more than 20% to profit margin.
Experience : List the most recent experience first.
Emphasize on your achievements and contributions. Describe your job duties and how you went beyond your responsibilities to help your employer or department. Mention how you improved workflow, enhanced patient/customer satisfaction, saved money or time, generated revenue, managed inventory levels, trained employees and built positive relationships.
Activities : Campus and community activities, memberships in professional organizations etc.
Personal : Certifications, security clearances, patents, special awards, citizenship etc.
Include specialty areas (e.g. acute/critical care, ICU, retail, nuclear pharmaceuticals) and important skills (e.g. pharmacology, dispensing/compounding, medication therapy, pharmaceutical research, MedE America Pharmacy System).
